Our Favorite Basic Arugula Salad Recipe

Basic salads are one of the easiest and healthiest options out there for a quick meal. Here is an arugula salad that can be thrown together in 5 minutes to help fuel you while you’re on the run.

1 Cup Arugula

Juice of 1 Lemon

Grated Feta or Parmesan Cheese

⅓ Red Onion, Chopped

Grilled Chicken or Shrimp, optional

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and enjoy! I usually add grilled chicken to my salad, if I have time, to get some protein. If I want a quicker option for protein, I make some blackened grilled shrimp to add to it.
